Donald J. Trump has won Florida’s 30 electoral votes, an expected victory for Trump in his state of residence.
The Associated Press news outlet called the race in Florida for Trump on Tuesday night. With 95% of the votes counted, Trump leads Democratic nominee Kamala Harris 56.2% to 42.9%.
Throughout the race, Trump’s support among Hispanic signaled that he’d have enough votes to carry Florida, a state that he won in 2016 and 2020.
